1st and 2nd fastest pigeon of all 64.226 participating pigeons !
Jos Vercammen and his son Lars are one the best lofts ever existed in Belgian pigeon sport, everyone knows this.
They succeeded to create their own pigeon strain, and achieve a record list, which only a few fanciers have achieved.
Their record list is just amazing, as well as their list of references !
Their pigeons are flying first prizes at all levels, all over the world !
Father and son Vercammen had already won almost everything, which can be won.
Hundreds of 1st Prizes, championships, …
But they still had a dream … to win 1st National Bourges, which is the most famous National race in Belgium, with the highest number of participating pigeons.
On the 25th of July, “their dream came true”.
But, what nobody had done before, Vercammen DID IT !
Winning 1st AND 2nd National Bourges against 37.090 young birds, is a result which can be called “Unique” in our
National (and international) pigeon sport !
Moreover their 2 winners reached the highest velocity of all 64.226 participating birds
(young birds – yearlings and old birds together).
In the Top-100 National, they have 5 pigeons, which is another unique record.
We always say : try to have 1 pigeon in the Top-100 National : that’s already not easy.
What the Vercammens did … there are no words.
Now they can say that “their circle is complete”; they won so many provincial and semi-national races, provincial and national championships … now they added the double National victory on the Bourges – race.

1st National winner is called “ALADDIN 081-09” (pedigree see below )
He is a halfbrother to ‘Betty’ a hen which won 52nd Semi-National Vierzon against 4.640 p.
He is a son of “Bolo’ B06-6270152, winner of :

“Bolo” is a real inbred-pigeon. Jos Vercammen paired up a grandson with a granddaughter of his famous breeder called “Etim”, in which we find back the best blood of ‘Lou’ and ‘Panter’)
The mother is called ‘Polina’ B08-6174628, which is a daughter of the 8th National Ace Pigeon KBDB and 1st Ace Pigeon in Union Antwerp
The winner of the 2nd place National is called “JONGE PANTER 211-09’ ( see pedigree below ); he is a son of ‘Amaretto’ B07-6221019 ( full brother to the 2nd Ace Pigeon in Union Antwerpen called ‘Expresso’, as well full brother ‘Safari’ and ‘Milkshake’.
All these top winners come from the same Golden pair ‘Morisko’ 271-05 x ‘Dolce 387-02’.
Here we find back the pure blood of the worldfamous basic breeder of Vercammen, called “Kleine Panter”
The mother of “Jonge Panter” 211/09 is called ‘Dina’ B08-6144028, a real super-hen which won 9th National Limoges against 16.896 pigeons herself ( ! ), as well as :
